Turkish drama set for US remake

Sander/Moses Productions in the US has picked up the rights to remake Turkish drama The End, about a man who disappears after a plane crash.

“Turkish drama is in huge demand across the world thanks to quality story telling and high production values. It is only natural that The End has reached US shores,” said Mia Engström, director of sales and acquisitions at distributor Eccho Rights.

Eccho has previously sold the original series, produced by Ay Yapim, to SVT in Sweden.

No broadcast is yet attached to the project.
